Marley’s Bud is an Indica-dominant cannabis hybrid developed in Holland by Bulk Seed Bank that won the Dutch High Life Cup in 1999 and was dedicated in honor of the late Bob Marley.
The flowers of this strain are dense and offer a sweet floral aroma with characteristic hints of Afghan hash.
Some examples of the Jamaican “Collie” (a slang word that Jamaicans use for cannabis or Ganja) were crossed with a relative of the Indica Maple Leaf and the best selected hybrid was called Marley’s Bud.
By feminizing this variety it was possible to achieve great uniformity of the phenotypes, therefore the plants can be successfully grown with SOG or SCROG techniques.
