Golden Haze is a cross of Super Silver Haze with Amnesia Haze from the legendary Soma.
They both had traits we liked and after a lot of initial groundwork, we stumbled upon this unique phenotype that literally shone brighter than its sisters in cultivation. We immediately understood what we had created: this gorgeous Golden Haze.
Back in 2011 we included this strain in the 24th edition of the High Times Cannabis Cup. At the time, High Times LOVED this strain – we featured in their 2012 guide to the “Strongest Strains on Earth”.

After spending some time stabilizing the intersection, we kept it in the library and persevered with other projects. Other strains have been created in our workshops and have done great things, but we have never forgotten our golden dream.
Several months ago, we decided to relaunch the project. We have stabilized and optimized the variety: it now has a slightly longer flower than before. An extra week or 2 eventually increased its potency even further without affecting the taste and shape that was so popular.

The taste is classic Haze. If you’ve smoked Haze, then you know: the good stuff has this unique, subtle quality in the smoke. The taste returns to the original “Amni”. Growers will see all the classic characteristics of old school Haze.
Beware, it has really stretched in the last 2-3 weeks, so leave a lot of space. Outdoors, Golden Haze can grow into a monster over 2 meters tall. This is partly due to how hardy and long-lasting it is, as it has the ability to flower until mid-October and beyond.
