Amnesia Lemon Feminized is the result of a historic collaboration between Barney’s Farm and the legendary breeder Soma, a cross that redefined the standards for fast-flowering Haze varieties.
Winner of the Sativa Cup in 2004, this cultivar combines the cerebral vigor of Amnesia Haze with the agronomic stability and citrus profile of Lemon Skunk. It is a plant designed for growers who demand the aromatic intensity of a pure Sativa but require a shortened ripening cycle and less complex structural management than traditional Hazes.
This Barney’s Farm variety is a sativa-dominant hybrid capable of delivering an indoor yield between 500 and 600g/m². With a stabilized flowering time between 8 and 10 weeks, Amnesia Lemon produces THC levels nearing 25%.
The plant expresses a decisive but controllable vertical stretch, with an aerial mass characterized by medium internodes and flowers of surprising density for its lineage. The sensory profile is an explosion of sour lemon and spicy earth, with an effect perceived as intensely creative, electric, and long-lasting.

In a controlled environment, Amnesia Lemon expresses a significant vertical stretch during the first two weeks of flowering. To maximize yield, the use of the SCROG technique is recommended, which allows the vegetative volume to be distributed horizontally and ensures that each calyx receives uniform light intensity.
VPD must be carefully monitored: 1.2 kPa in vegetative and up to 1.5 kPa in late flowering to favor transpiration and resin production. The plant benefits from a constant supply of Silicon to reinforce the cell walls of the branches, which must support the weight of voluminous flowers.
Outdoors, this cultivar reveals its exuberant nature. The root zone needs space; pots smaller than 30 liters will drastically limit growth potential. Thanks to its relatively fast flowering, it manages to avoid the heaviest rains of late October, reducing the risk of botrytis. It is a plant that loves full sun and requires a fertilization plan rich in Phosphorus and Potassium as early as mid-August. The bouquet of Amnesia Lemon is dominated by Limonene, which gives a pungent scent of freshly cut lemon zest. However, the complexity is provided by Terpinolene, which introduces floral and woody notes inherited from Amnesia Haze.
During curing, the aroma stabilizes, losing the most aggressive acid points in favor of an earthy and musky aftertaste. While Super Lemon Haze tends to have a sweeter, “candy” flavor, Amnesia Lemon is sourer, more pungent, and earthier. The Barney’s Farm structure is generally more robust and less subject to water stress.
Lemon Skunk is more relaxing and less mentally powerful. Amnesia Lemon inherits the Skunk structure but maintains the “electric” power of Haze, offering a much more intense experience.
This variety is not recommended for those suffering from anxiety or paranoia, as its cerebral potency can be overwhelming. It is not suitable for those growing in micro-boxes without advanced training techniques, nor for those seeking a sedative effect to promote deep sleep.
It can double or triple its vegetative volume after the switch to 12/12. Ensure you have at least 50-60 cm of free space above the plant.
In soil, a pH of 6.3-6.5 is recommended to allow for a balanced absorption of micro and macro elements.
It tolerates temperatures up to 28-30°C well, provided humidity and air circulation are correctly managed.
