Nepal Mist Regular is a spectacular F1 hybrid combining Nepal Annapurna with the legendary Oldtimer’s Haze (Purple phenotype). This cross represents the union of two elite sativas: a hardy mountain landrace and a pure tropical Haze.
The result, as often discussed on ICMag, is a plant with explosive vigor that embodies the essence of “mountain sativa.” It’s a strain designed for experienced growers seeking a complete sativa experience, combining Nepalese stability with the boundless cerebral power of Haze.
Growing Nepal Mist is an exhilarating experience. The plant grows at surprising speed, developing an open structure with thin but sturdy branches. Indoors, flowering lasts 12 to 15 weeks, depending on the phenotype.
Thanks to its parent strains, this strain possesses incredible natural resistance to both cold and mold (botrytis), making it one of the best options for outdoor cultivation in humid or mountainous climates.
The flowers aren’t extremely dense, but grow in long tails covered in small calyxes laden with bright resin, often turning purple toward the end of ripening.
Nepal Mist’s bouquet is a layering of complex aromas. The incense and ancient wood notes of the Haze are clearly discernible, blending with the piney, minty freshness of Nepal Annapurna. Many specimens also exhibit an aftertaste of berries and red wine, especially in the purple-tinged phenotypes.
On the palate, the flavor is persistent and balsamic. This strain requires careful curing: after 3-4 months, the earthy notes fade, giving way to a heavenly aroma that fills the room as soon as the jar is opened.
