White Widow Feminized – Silent Seeds

The feminized White Widow by Silent Seeds is a variety that has been celebrated since the mid-90s, when it made its first appearance in the Netherlands (more precisely by Green House Seeds). White Widow is 65% indica and gets its name from its prolific white resin coat.

Its structure is typically indica, shaped like a Christmas tree with a strong central stem and additional lateral branches. Fairly easy to grow as long as the RH is not above 60% as mold can be a problem where it is higher.

Indoors, the plants need only moderate nutrients, while outdoors this is a strain that thrives on a good amount of sun and fairly dry conditions. Indoors, flowering time is around 55 days with expected yields of 550 g/m2.

Outdoors the plants can grow up to 250cm. tall, and growers can expect to get up to 900g/plant with northern hemisphere harvests ready in the first half of October. At maturity, the buds and smaller leaves are covered in glossy trichomes oozing with white resin.

While the scent is fresh and floral, the taste is very different with sweet and sour fruity notes overlaid with its floral tone. THC content ranges from 14 to 20% with very low CBD.

The effect is typically indica, physically relaxing and very long lasting. Therapeutically, White Widow is recommended for pain relief.
