It is 80% sativa and is a large producer with deliciously lemonic aromas.
The Durban Special responds very well to being topped (pinching the tops out) again and again, its vigorous growth is such that it keeps putting out more tops. This is a large plant that can grow laterally as well as vertically and is likely to stretch as much as 2.5 times with the onset of flowering.
The flowering stage will take between 9 and 11 weeks dependant on the precise pheno being grown.
The terpenes of The Durban Special are incredibly lemonic and in turns reminds one of lemon honey pepper or lemon cake making it a very enticing strain organoleptically.
