This is a classic 50/50 sativa / indica gem with a popularity that has endured over the years. According to history, this plant harnessed the potency of a super sativa Brazilian land breed along with a resinous indica from the mountains of Kerala in southern India.

We were given a female clone way back in 1996 and have since bred it with a carefully selected male White Widow plant. A constant component in some of our cross plants that brings about an improvement in quality, in 2012 we decided it was time to share the original strain in its purest form.

Our In Bred line is strong, a lineage that derives entirely from the original champion strain, developed by our old friend Ingemar, known to many as “The Father of the White Widow”. This powerful plant is named after the dangerously powerful Black Widow spider in combination with the thick coating of white crystals that cover its resinous buds.

Cultivation

Expect the traits that have earned this plant such a solid reputation for its commercial capabilities. A sturdy plant, growth patterns are uniform, they quickly become bushy before stretching out when in bloom.

This strain is perfect for SOG, SCROG, LST and other forms of plant training, making it ideal for growers working with limited space. The numerous side branches produce greasy buds, explosive with trichomes, which give off its floral scent.

A gift for indoor growers thanks to a texture that offers ease of control in a grow room and a yield that will fill your basket after 8 – 9 weeks of flowering. Easy to grow, this strain is the choice of beginners and seasoned professionals alike.

Outdoors it will reach the sun (2 meters and above) and produce accordingly, making it a great choice in the southern regions of the world. However, as a true champion, this plant will perform very well even in the more temperate climates of northern Europe and Canada.
