When it comes to strains that have made their mark on the genetics of cannabis plants around today, there are few names that can be mentioned as often as Northern Lights Feminized by Royal Queen Seeds.
The exact composition of the Northern Lights legacy is thought to come from the West Coast of America, originally from eleven different seeds.

The exact legacy composition of Northern Lights Feminized is thought to come from the West Coast of America, originally from eleven different seeds. Each of these strains have been hybridized, crossed and hybridized so much over the years that the exact genetics remain a mystery.
However, one thing is certain is that the Northern Lights have been the basis for many of the award-winning classics in cannabis history.
According to legend, it was an Indica plant unique to Afghanistan, although some of the original eleven plants were said to contain Thai genetics.
Today we present our feminized Northern Lights, which is still an indica-dominant hybrid, but contains a lot of sativa in its leaf structure.
Our Northern Lights Feminized will grow up to 1.2m tall indoors, but will reach over 2m tall outdoors. She will produce relatively wider internodal spacing, with long, thin leaves, demonstrating her sativa background.
Flowering is when its Afghan heritage comes to life, with dense resin-coated nuggets forming all over the plant; however, it will produce a giant main cola.
It will yield an average of 50-60g per plant or around 500g per square meter in a 600 watt light. Grown outdoors, she can yield up to 625g per plant, but will need the nice warm climate of southern Spain, California or North Africa.
Placed in full sun and with enough food and water, the Northern Lights will grow into a tree and yield excellent results.
Flowering is complete after 8-9 weeks. During the flowering process, all buds form with a light, resin-coated surface that begins to glow towards the end of growth.
Northern Lights is simply one of those screaming cigarettes that guarantees a couchlock session for the next few minutes.
The Afghan heritage really shines through in the smoke, and anyone looking for that strong stone need look no further than this beautiful strain.
