Energy saving indoor cannabis grow light. They are the perfect grow lights for growing one or two plants in a confined space.

They have very low energy consumption. They are especially used for the germination and cloning phase of cannabis plants.

What is a CFL grow light?

They emit more light intensity than TCL neon lamps, but still remain much less performing than HID grow lamps, whether they are HPS or MH does not matter. This makes the CFL lamp a type of Indoor grow light more suitable for the early stages of plant development, such as germination and cloning, just like TCL Neon lamps.

Trying to use this type of grow light during the flowering phase could lead to decent results, but the buds obtained, albeit of the highest quality, will have a below average weight, making them one of the least suitable lamps for facing the flowering of Cannabis from Sun.

In fact, is possible to use the CFL lamp for flowering, but only and exclusively if the number of lamps to insert in the cultivation space is sufficient to generate enough light intensity (lumen) to guarantee the correct development of the Cannabis flowers.

In addition, Pure Light’s CFL grow light is the most recommended light type to support HPS light in the flowering phase. This is because CFL lamps have, within their spectrum, also UV-B rays indicated as a natural stimulator of the growth of trichomes, the resin of Cannabis which, once compacted, is what is known and called as Hash.

How to use it correctly:

Normally, Pure Light CFL lamps have a classic E-40 socket, allowing for easy installation on the socket. Being very fragile lamps, you will have to be careful not to hit the bulb, nor to leave fingerprints on them. The fat released by the skin could form an accumulation on the surface of the bulb which, over time, could lead to a breakage of the same.

They are more comfortable lamps than high-intensity HID lamps, whether they are HPS or MH, since they don’t require a ballast for its ignition. Lightweight lamp, 5kg lamp hanger pulleys may be enough for its correct use.
